Altec Santana Mod 879A Tweeter repalcements

Anybody know of a good replacement tweeter for Altec Santana model 879A speakers?

I think some of the old Santana's with the 4" tweeter mounted in the cabinet were actually using Pioneer Phenolic Ring Tweeters, too bad these are no longer made, keep an eye on eBay, they show-up there every so often, Dave.

PS - I think Ohm loudspeakers also use ring tweeters in the C2 & D2 series.

These speakers are rated at 8 OHM.
The Biplex driver has an 8 Ohm rating on the ID plate. The two drivers appear top be wired in parraell. Whta Ohm tweeter should I look for to rig up a temporay set up?

I'd just use a single 8 ohm tweeter, you might have to change the crossover capacitor if the old ones were wired for four ohms, Dave.
